PocketRest App Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the PocketRest mobile application ("Application") treats user privacy. Privacy is our priority, which is why PocketRest is designed not to collect any personal data.
The application is developed and provided by PocketRest Studio. Contact: studio.pocketrest@gmail.com.

2. What data do we collect?
*We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. To use PocketRest:
*You don't need to create an account or log in.
*We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
*We do not track your location or activity.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The app saves minor settings (e.g., sound on/off) only locally, in your device's memory. This information:
*never leaves your device,
*is not transmitted to us or shared with anyone,
*is deleted after uninstalling the app.

4. No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking
PocketRest does not contain analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase), advertising, tracking mechanisms, or marketing identifiers.

5. Permissions
*The app uses minimal system permissions that do not collect personal data:
*Network state access - technically required by audio and video playback libraries,
*Screen hold - to keep the screen on during workouts and recordings.
*The app works completely offline and does not send any data over the internet.

6. Data Sharing with Third Parties
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties.

7. Children's Privacy
PocketRest is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

8. Security
The application does not collect or transmit personal data, so the risk associated with its processing is minimized. Locally stored settings are protected by your device's system mechanisms.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)
We do not process your personal data, nor do we create profiles or data sets. For questions regarding privacy, please contact: studio.pocketrest@gmail.com.

10. Health Disclaimer
PocketRest supports relaxation and well-being. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical or psychological assistance. The help lines in the application are for informational purposes only. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact the appropriate services or a specialist.

11. Website
The pocketrest.com website is solely for the presentation of the App. We use Umami – a web analytics platform designed with privacy in mind. Umami does not use cookies, does not record IP addresses, and does not track visitors across websites or sessions. We do not create user profiles and do not conduct tracking-based advertising. We only collect anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics: the number of page views, the source of the visit (e.g., the referring website address), approximate location at the country level, device type, browser, and operating system. This data cannot be associated with a specific person. Since we do not use cookies or other technologies requiring consent, a cookie banner is not necessary. The basis for processing is our legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f, GDPR) in understanding the overall popularity of the website and the effectiveness of its content.
The service is provided by Umami Software, Inc. Details: https://umami.is/privacy

The PocketRest App itself does not collect any data and operates completely offline.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, along with its effective date. We will notify you of any significant changes in the App or on the website.
